Product description

Multa helmet is an Eastern combat helmet for buhurt / full-contact armored fighting, developed with reference to 13th–14th century steppe prototypes. The build follows historical sources and period analogues, while structural details are adapted for modern impact loads.

Included in the set: chainmail aventail, a padded helmet liner with hidden additional plates, and straps. Dome shape and seating line are designed around common head anatomy, and final fit is tuned with padding and strap adjustment rather than bespoke measuring.

  • Protection: dome geometry and edges are intended for repeated hits; the aventail adds flexible coverage where rigid plates are hard to place.
  • Mobility: workable sight line and balance support turns, posture control, and distance work without excessive neck fatigue.
  • Service life: straps and suspension parts are consumables; they can be replaced, and the aventail can be maintained or repaired locally.

Multiple build options are available (thickness / heat-treatment variants may differ by batch), letting you choose a weight-to-durability balance for your fighting style.

The helmet is commonly configured with typical tournament inspection criteria in mind (HMB, IMCF, and other formats), but final approval is decided by the event’s equipment check and depends on rules, configuration, and current condition.
