Product description

The Gorodets helmet is based on 13th-century Russian historical analogs. The build is oriented to sources and surviving prototypes, while the geometry is tuned for real use in full-contact armored combat.

The main feature is hidden face and neck protection. A closed frontal zone reduces risk from direct strikes and tight clinch work, while neck coverage supports contact fighting where pressure and grabbing are common.

Included: mail aventail, padded liner with concealed reinforcement plates, and strap hardware. This set helps stabilize the helmet on the head during repeated hits and makes fitting more predictable.

Mobility and field use are designed for team fighting: head control remains practical without constantly “holding” the helmet. Sizing focuses on correct proportions and head shape; adjustment is done via straps and the internal suspension rather than promising automatic custom sizing for every buyer.

Maintenance: the aventail and interior parts can be serviced and replaced as they wear, and the fastening is meant for regular training cycles. For events, use your rule set as a reference (e.g., HMB, IMCF, and local formats) and confirm acceptance with the inspectors before travel.
