Chapelle with gorget is a practical setup for full-contact armored combat where neck and shoulder-line protection matters under downward strikes and clinch pressure. The gorget shields the collarbone area and helps manage edge contact between helmet and neck. The design is intended for a stable fit with a padded liner and for routine maintenance: straps and hardware are serviceable, so consumables can be tightened or replaced between events. Supplied with padding and straps.

Product description

Chapelle with gorget is a full-contact armored combat helmet built around functional coverage: the dome protects crown/temples/occiput, while the gorget adds neck protection and coverage of the collarbone line. This combination is useful against downward blows and during fence work, where load often travels through the helmet edge into the helmet–neck transition.

Fit is achieved through geometry and correct sizing, with internal volume reserved for a shock-managing liner. This lets you tune stability and ride height with replaceable padding layers, keeping the helmet seated under clinch pressure without excessive shift.

For durability, the strap system and hardware are made for regular inspection and field-style servicing. Replacing straps, tightening fasteners, or refreshing padding is straightforward, supporting season-long use.

Manufacturing is based on historical sources and European analogs, with construction details adapted for sporting wear. The overall concept aligns with common tournament inspection checkpoints across buhurt/armored combat rulesets, but final compliance depends on the specific event regulations and your complete protective kit.
