Product description

Turban helmet in an eastern style, made with reference to historical sources and 14th–15th century Persian/Turkish analogs. The dome geometry is tuned for full contact historical fighting: it helps redirect glancing strikes and keeps usable internal volume for a working fit with a padded cap.

The build targets regular training and tournament wear. The set includes a chainmail aventail, a soft padded liner with hidden reinforcing plates, and fastening straps. This combination improves impact distribution, reduces point loading, and keeps the helmet more stable during clinch work and repeated exchanges.

Fit and mobility depend on correct sizing: the helmet should sit firm without rotation, while avoiding pressure hotspots on temples and occipital area. The strap system supports adjustment within a realistic size range, and the aventail covers the lower edge and the transition to neck protection.

Brass ornament is a surface decoration and does not replace structural protection; for service life, avoid harsh chemicals and check fasteners after hard sessions.

The construction is intended to meet common technical expectations across multiple formats (including HMB, IMCF, and local rulesets), but final approval always depends on the specific event requirements and correct assembly of your full kit.

Maintenance: dry the liner thoroughly, inspect straps/rivets regularly, and keep the mail clean and free of kinks for easier field repairs and longer service.
