Reinforced Turban Helmet is an Eastern-style helmet with a ribbed dome and a chainmail aventail. The design is based on historical sources and 14th–15th century analogs from the Turkey/Iran region, with practical choices aimed at sustained full-contact use.

Protection is delivered by a stiffened dome, a front nasal to reduce direct impact risk to the central face area, and an aventail that extends coverage to the neck, jawline and upper chest through overlapping mail. The ribs act as structural reinforcements: they spread load and help the dome keep shape over repeated hits.

Mobility depends on fit and suspension height: when seated correctly, the brow line stays clear and the aventail does not bind during head turns. An arming cap is recommended for shock management and stability; also ensure the aventail length works with your collar, shoulders and straps to avoid snagging.
