European triangular shield for buhurt/full contact, made with historical references in mind: based on period-style shapes known from iconography and museum prototypes of medieval European shields. The triangular outline supports torso coverage while keeping the shield responsive for active handwork and close-range control.

Build: a 2-layer plywood core with a total thickness of 8 mm. Both faces are fabric-covered and painted in the requested color. The fabric skin helps the surface stay serviceable under abrasion and reduces localized splintering from strikes and friction.

Rim durability: the edge is wrapped with 4 mm leather and further reinforced with multiple glued fabric layers. This perimeter reinforcement helps against rim hits, shield-to-weapon contact, and grinding in clinch, while keeping maintenance practical—edge and outer layers can be serviced without rebuilding the entire shield.

Size: standard 52×70 cm, with the option to adjust dimensions on request (to better match stance, reach, and event requirements).
