Bicolor European Gambeson Premium for full contact
The Bicolor European Gambeson Premium is a practical under-armor layer for buhurt / full contact, training, and wearing under plate, mail, or brigandine. The cut follows a common European arming-jacket layout: straightforward, movement-friendly through the shoulders, and built for day-to-day use. Design choices reference historical sources and European analogues, while keeping the garment focused on combat practicality.
Natural fabric is used both outside and inside, and cushioning comes from 2 layers of natural batting. This helps reduce sharp impact transfer, limits rubbing from edges/straps, and provides a more stable base for shoulders, cuirass systems, and arm harness attachments.
The tie system is made with maintenance in mind: ties can be replaced when they wear out, without complicated rebuild. The bicolor layout adds clear visual structure without affecting performance.
Included are 4 armpoints (lace points) supplied loose, so you can sew them where your armor needs them. This is useful when switching shoulder systems or reconfiguring your harness.
About tournament checks: protection level and construction are aimed at typical full-contact requirements (HMB, ACL, IMCF, etc.), but acceptance depends on the current rules, your armor configuration, and item condition. Always verify the event rulebook and add extra protection layers if required.
Use & care: dry after fights, avoid long storage while damp, and regularly inspect seams and ties. Field repairs are usually limited to tie replacement and reinforcing high-wear zones (shoulders, armpits, waist).
