Eastern-style leg protection set: thigh panels, knee cops, greaves and sabatons. Built around mobile connections so the knee and ankle move without binding during steps, squats and clinch pressure. Strap and lace adjustment helps tune volume over padding. The layout is based on historical eastern prototypes while focusing on practical durability for full-contact use.

Product description

This set follows the logic of eastern leg defenses seen in historical sources and analogs: solid coverage on impact zones combined with flexible links to keep mobility in motion. It is intended for training and buhurt where leg protection must survive repeated contact while staying workable in footwork and clinch.

Set includes thigh protection (outer panels), knee cops with side coverage, greaves for the lower leg, and sabatons for the foot. A flexible junction between the knee and shin helps prevent gaps when you drop into a low stance and reduces binding when stepping, turning, or absorbing pressure. Edges are finished to limit snag points on clothing and gear.

Fit is handled via straps/buckles and lacing: you can set knee height, secure the greave on the calf, and align the sabaton over footwear. The geometry is designed around common leg proportions and use over padding, without implying automatic one-off personalization.

Maintenance in use: straps and hang points are consumables and can be replaced quickly; connectors are serviceable without stripping the entire set. After fights, check rivets, edges, and all mounts around the knee and instep.

On tournament checks: the construction is aligned with common full-contact requirements (e.g., HMB/ACL/SCA and similar rulesets), but acceptance depends on the specific event regulations and the inspectors’ decision.
