Eastern plate mittens is a stylized version of eastern hand protection. Similar gauntlets were used in Persia, as well as in other countries with a similar type of armor. These mittens are not intended for buhurt, but in all other cases provide sufficient protection for the hand, thanks to the dense quilted glove and double overlap of the plates.
