Chainmail skirt premium

A chainmail skirt was often an integral part of late European armor. Knights wore it to protect the area between the breastplate and the leg armor, as this area was difficult to cover with metal plates. In this case, there was no need to wear full chainmail, and to save weight, warriors used the chainmail skirt and armpits as separate elements. The premium version of the chainmail skirt includes scallops along the hem decorated with brass rings, blued steel rings, and leather belt loops.
