Eastern shield Kalkan L is one of the most common Eastern shields for a very long period of time. As a rule, such shields were made of flexible tree branches and did not always have metal parts. Eastern shield Kalkan L of our production is a stylization of shields of those times, but fully complies with all standards for medieval armored combat. The shield is made of 2 or 3 layers of high-quality plywood, covered with durable fabric on both sides, its edge is reinforced with additional layers of fabric and covered with thick leather. The center of the shield is reinforced with a 2mm thick steel cone. The shield has a soft arm pillow and two types of grip. The diameter of the shield is 65-70 cm. The shield is decorated with an original pattern in the eastern style, the design of the pattern can be changed at the request of the customer.
