Description of the product

Ribbed nasal bascinet is the simplest form of face protection encountered in Germany and northern Italy during the years 1340-1370. This nosepiece was attached in the center of Bascinet's forehead by means of hooks or hinges, and from below it was attached to the aventail. In this version, the helmet is stylized for all types of full contact combat and has hidden protection and eye bridges. The dome is made with ribs for greater strength.
